Hi Jenny, working on the Irish Chain. Love the pattern. Can NOT get enough 6 1/2″ from the one yard of background fabric. What am I doing wrong????

  • Tricia

Hi Jenny started making the Irish chain quilt, this one I am going to keep for myself it’s so easy to understand with your tutorial.
QUESTION; What is the make and model of the iron that you are using here it is brilliant I would love to get one, I am in Scotland so I would have to import but It would be worth it, thanks

It’s an Oliso. Amazon has the best prices on them.

Hi Jenny, have six rows into the King Size pattern and have run out of background fabric. 2 yards of solid doesn’t cover. At 6.5 inches and six blocks per strip you actually need almost 4.5 yards of fabric. Love how it is looking so far, but now I’m stuck. What would you charge to mail me another 2.5 yards of Moda Snow??? Penny

I guess I should have read the comments 1st because I’ve started making this quilt from the videos instructions and I don’t have enough fabric…and I can’t find any more of what chose for the white block. Very frustrating.

In the video she states the background fabric is Moda Snow.

I love these tutorials but I would appreciate a little more accuracy and detail. I too had to order more fabric. I am grateful that I used the Moda Snow. It was at least easy to get more.
