Hi, it’s Jenny from, the Missouri Star Quilt Company. We’ve got a quick, fun update for you on the tumbler ruler.
This is a tumbler quilt, made with the “Hoopla” Layer Cake, and it’s made with a big 10” tumbler. Let me show you quickly how we do that. I’m going to set this over here so you can see it. Hopefully, many of you are using the small tumbler. We did a tutorial on that. It fits on the little charm pack with very little waste. Well, guess what Natalie’s done it again. We have the large tumbler, on the 10” layer Cake. Fit’s perfectly! Very little waste!
Really a fun, quick idea for these tumbler or bucket quilts. Makes a darling pattern goes together just like the small tumbler, easily, and quickly. And the fun thing, I want you to take a look at this edge we’ve used the tumbler as a pattern, laid the center of our ruler on the straight edge of the fabric and just cut half blocks to make this darling border where it zig-zags in and out.
Well, we hope you enjoy this quick tutorial update from the Missouri Star Quilt Company.
