A Quick Turnover Tip for Turnover Week

Transcript:

I’m Lila Tueller, this is Stella, and we both love the Missouri Star Quilt Company. Very much!

Hi, I’m Natalie, from the Missouri Star Quilt Company and I have a quick tip for you using Turnovers.

We’re going to take our two Turnovers and place them right sides together, and we’re going to sew a ¼” seam along the long side of our triangle. Once you’ve done that you’ll take it over to your ironing board and press it open. Then what you’re going to do is take your square ruler, line up your seam line, and line up your two corners. And then we’re going to make a cut. Once you’ve done that, then you can take these two half triangle triangles and mix them up! You can do a fun hour glass block, or you can turn them around, and mix them up, and make a cute scrappy block. Hope you enjoy using Turnovers this week and hope you enjoy this tip from the Missouri Star Quilt Company.
