I don’t understand why you just don’t make the squares a little smaller by using both sides of the half square triangles (using the center as the cut line). It seems to make no sense to have all of that left over fabric! Love this and all of your tutorials! Thank you so much for doing them.

Thanks for asking, Anna. We keep the HST at this size here to match up with the charm squares. We sewed both sides of the center when making the HST’s so all that extra fabric would at least be ready to go in another project.

What was the layout for the quilt? Looks like it may be 3 across by 5 down?

How many charm packs would I need for a queen quilt. I am thinking of using something with fall colors.

Is it possible for you to indicated either how many jelly rolls, charm packs or layer cakes it takes to make things…wall hanging to king size quilts either on the video or somewhere on your sight so that when I see a quilt I would like to make I know how much of these items to order. Sometimes you say and sometimes you don’t Thanks in advance. I really like what you do. Are you going to have anymore webinars??? I thought your last one was so funny with you and your son. Your answers were great but the laughing was wonderful…are we still on???…..are you sure its running etc etc etc

I have wanted to make a quilt for years, but feared failure! I saw your video on the Jelly Roll Quilt and thought this would be a good place to start. Thank you so much for restoring my courage

I saw a tutorial made with a jelly roll out of the Benartex Star Spangled Bandana fabrics so I bought the jelly roll and now I can’t find the tutorial! Does anyone know what I saw or is my imagination driving me crazy??

Can you please share the dimensions of the fabric squares you are using? I have already purchased fabric that is not pre-cut, but would love to try this design. Unfortunately I found your site a bit too late as it would have been so nice to just purchase the pre-cut fabrics! Looking forward to many sewing projects in the future with you guys! My wish list is growing quickly. 🙂
