Will you include the design you used the binding tool to make in QQ3?

  • Mspris43

Everything I have gotten from Missouri Star Quilt Co. has been top notch.  Jenny tutorials has been has been easy ,  I like them much better than NacnyZimmerman, Sue Hausman, Jodi davis, and many others.  Forgive my spelling please.  Priscilla

Thanks for your sweet comment! We are so thrilled that you have enjoyed MSQC so much!!  🙂

  • Danielle

I am a new quilter without taking a lesson thanks to Jenny . So far I have made (with a few mistakes) 4baby quilts and 1 for my granddaughter Lauren for her birthday. I rely a lot on jelly rolls, charm packs but never used fat quarters yet. Thank you to all the ladies at Missouri quilt shop.

That is great to hear Danielle!  It is such a fun hobby to have!  You are making heirlooms that will be passed down for generations!

Where is the tutorial using the Wacky Web template and foundation papers

  • Mcscraphappy

I really enjoy your tutorials…I’ve tried many of them and have had great success.  Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and techniques!  I’m looking for one that I did a couple of months back with a jelly roll and charm pack…you end up making two blocks at once.  I made a small sample and would like to make another but can’t remember how!  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for sharing your great ideas!

    • Linda

sounds like the serendipity.   I plan to make it too.  Got to get others quilted first.

    • Sarah

      • Alamogal1963

Love it!  That one is next on the list.

Web Suggestion:  Can you list the projects by title under the Quilt Projects tab with a link to the videos?  Or maybe create a sub-tab for Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, etc. ?  I’ve purchased DD’s but don’t know what to do with them (design challenged) but I sure can copy with the right inspiration!  Grouping the videos by project name or pack-type would make it sew easy!

  • Kansastwinpines

  • Noramontgomery

I can’t find a tutorial I saw recently with Jinny sewing jelly roll strips together (the tutorial was in fast motion a lot of the time, quite funny), then made a quilt top.  I would like to see it again and have looked for over an hour–any help would be appreciated.  Thanks, Nora

  • Mckenzie Ledbetter

Hi my name is Mckenzie and I am about to be an aunt for the first time! I would love to make my sister a rag quilt diaper bag with pockets. I am very new to quilting and all the bags I have seen do not show you how to put a pocket for the bottle on the side or any of the pockets on the inside. It would be wonderful if you guys would do a video about it! =)

Hi, How many tumbler blocks do I need to make a queen size bed quilt?

    • Natalie

If your using the 10″ tumbler you will need approximately 80 blocks to make a queen. For the 5″ tumbler you will need about 160-180 blocks. It also depends on how large you want to make your borders. If you want large borders, you will need fewer blocks. For smaller borders, add more blocks! I hope this helps!

  • Pjmcqueen

I was watching something the other day about making a baby receiving blanket that had self borders.  It was very easy you used to different sizes of material one larger than the other.  Sewed it together then turned it right side out and it created its own border.  Was this on your site.  I sure need to find it because I’m going to be a great-grandmother again soon.  The material was fannel.  Please let me know..

    Thank you.

What happened to the I-Spy Jar quilt tutorial?   I have all of my materieals now, and I can’t find the tutorial.

    • Noramontgomery

I don’t know what you’re talking about.  Did you try UTube or go directly to the Missouri Star Quilt company website?

    • Noramontgomery

Also, try to Google it and see if it comes up.

    • Natalie

      Hi Nancy,

  • Barbdippel

I love all of these videos.  Wish they were numbered so I could return to one without hunting.  They are so informative.  Thanks

    • Natalie

That is a great idea! I will look into it, and see it we could do something like that! Thanks!

  • Elaine Harder

Help! where do I find your tutorial to make the table runner using the 60 degree ruler and stripe panel fabric. I watched a demo at a quilt store in Iowa and of course by the time I got home with the fabric I have forgotten some of the details.

  • pmlynek

Did you make a tutorial using Harmony by Benartex (blue and white). I have the jelly roll and now can’t find the tutorial. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • lesianne

As sashing on the “broken dishes” quilt, could I use a jelly roll?

  • Jan

I watched the Big Star tutorial and you mentioned using 2 charm packs to make a smaller size quilt. Loved the idea! You said something about the “little” pieces for the snowball at the corners. Could you elaborate on the sizes of the squares used to put on the corners to make the snowballs? Also the width of sashing and the cornerstones. Thank you!
