[Music] hi everybody I'm Natalie with Missouri Star Quilt Company and today on embroidery 101 we're going to learn the Herring bone Stitch this Stitch is really really cute and it's also very easy to do so you're going to start with your needle threaded and a knot in the end we're going to put our needle coming up from the back we it's a left to right um process and so what we're going to do is we're going to go up diagonally we have these two parallel lines of dots we're going to go up to the third Dot and create a a little back stitch in between those two dots and then we're going to come down here um you kind of skip two and then you make your little back stitch right there in between those two dots then we'll skip another dot up here and make another back stitch so it's really just a series of x's but they're spread out and the Little X um ends up kind of at the top and bottom of the Stitch and it just looks really cute so we'll continue on here [Music] so this Stitch really is just as easy as it sounds it's super cute and I think it'll be a great addition to your embroidery project so I hope you enjoyed learning the hering bone Stitch with me from Missouri Star Quilt Company [Music]
