Cut:
4 squares, 4.5" x 4.5" (floral print)
4 squares, 4.25" x 4.25" (light blue)
1 square, 4.25" x 4.25" (yellow)
16 squares, 2.5" x 2.5" (beige)
Take four of the smallest squares (beige) and draw a diagonal line on each from corner to corner.
Attach smaller blocks to each of the corners of the 4.5" squares (floral print), essentially snowballing the corners. Teresa works opposite corners, two at a time. Trim away excess fabric.
Repeat 3 more times.
Now arrange your nine patch. Put the yellow square at the center, and the snowballed blocks on top, bottom, right and left. Now add blue squares at the corners.
Sew together in rows, pressing seams to opposite directions each row so your seams will nest. Sew rows together taking care to match and nest seams.
