A t-shirt pillow is a great way to upcycle old t-shirts into a functional and sentimental home decor item. Here are the basic steps for making a t-shirt pillow:

Choose your t-shirt: Select a t-shirt that you would like to use for your pillow. Make sure it's clean and free of holes or stains.

Cut out the design: Cut out the design or logo from the front of the t-shirt. You can use scissors or a rotary cutter and quilting ruler to make a straight edge. Make sure to leave a border of about 1-2 inches around the design. Depending on your t-shirt fabric, you may wish to add interfacing to the back of the t-shirt, or attach it to a piece of background fabric.

Cut the back fabric: Cut a piece of fabric for the back of the pillow that is the same size as the front piece of the t-shirt. You can use a solid color fabric or a coordinating fabric pattern.

Sew the pieces together: Place the two pieces of fabric right sides together and pin in place. Sew around the edges with a sewing machine, leaving a 4-5 inch opening on one side.

Stuff the pillow: Turn the pillow right side out through the opening. Stuff the pillow with fiberfill or a pillow form until it's the desired firmness.

Finish the pillow: Fold the raw edges of the opening under and pin in place. Sew the opening closed by hand or with a sewing machine.

Your t-shirt pillow is now ready to use! This is a great project for showcasing favorite t-shirts or creating a personalized gift for a friend or family member.
