English Paper Piecing (EPP) hexagons is a popular technique used in quilting to create intricate and precise designs. Here's how you can get started with EPP hexagons:

Choose your fabrics: You'll need a variety of fabric scraps to create your hexagon design. Make sure you have enough fabric for the number of hexagons you want to create.

Cut your hexagons: Using a hexagon template, cut out your hexagons from cardstock or another sturdy paper. Make sure your hexagons are the same size. The most common size for EPP hexagons is 1 inch.

Baste your hexagons: Fold your fabric over your hexagon template and baste the edges in place using a needle and thread. You can use a whip stitch or a ladder stitch for this.

Join your hexagons: Once you have basted all of your hexagons, you can begin joining them together to create your design. Take two hexagons and place them right sides together. Using a whip stitch, sew along one edge of the hexagons.

Continue joining your hexagons: Take another hexagon and place it right sides together with one of the hexagons you just sewed. Sew along one edge of the hexagons, continuing to add hexagons until you have created your desired design.

Remove your basting: Once you have joined all of your hexagons, you can remove the basting stitches from the back of your work.

Finish your project: You can finish your EPP hexagon project in a variety of ways, such as adding a border or turning it into a pillow or quilt.

EPP hexagons can be time-consuming, but the results are beautiful and precise. With a little patience and practice, you can create stunning designs using this technique.
