A quilt as you go striped baby quilt is a great project for someone who wants to make a colorful and cozy blanket for a little one. The "quilt as you go" method means that you will be piecing together and quilting each individual strip of fabric as you go, rather than waiting until all the pieces are assembled to quilt them.

Here are the steps you can follow to make a quilt as you go striped baby quilt:

1. Choose your fabric: Select a variety of fabrics in different colors and patterns that complement each other. You will need enough fabric to make strips that are at least 2 inches wide.

Cut your fabric: Cut your fabric into strips of varying widths. You can cut them at random or plan out a pattern beforehand.

Prepare the backing and batting: Using quilting spray or fusible powder, secure your backing to the batting.

Start piecing and sewing: Starting at the center of the quilt, lay down your first strip, right side up, ensuring it is straight across. Add your second strip, right side down. Sew the strips together along one side with a 1/4" seam. Finger press open and repeat the process, working outwards from the center, until you've covered your entire quilt with strips.

Trim your quilt: When you have finished adding strips to your quilt, trim the edges and square up your quilt.

Binding your quilt: Now it's time for the finishing step. Bind the edges of your quilt just as you would any other project!

Enjoy your quilt: Your quilt as you go striped baby quilt is now complete and ready to be snuggled by your little one or given as a gift to a new parent.
