Steps:
Cut your Cuddle Minky fabric and binding fabric to the desired size. Keep in mind that Cuddle Minky fabric has a bit of stretch to it, so you'll need to take that into account when cutting your binding strips.
Sew your binding strips together, right sides facing each other, to make one long strip. Then press the seams open.
Place your Cuddle Minky fabric right side up and lay the binding strip on top of it, right sides together. Pin or clip the binding to the Cuddle Minky fabric, leaving about 2 inches of binding hanging off one end.
Starting at the end where the binding is hanging off, sew the binding to the Cuddle Minky fabric, using a 1/2 inch seam allowance. You can use a straight stitch or a zigzag stitch for this.
When you get to a corner, stop sewing 1/2 inch away from the edge and pivot the fabric. Then fold the binding up and away from the Cuddle Minky fabric, creating a diagonal fold. Fold the binding back down, aligning the raw edge of the binding with the next side of the Cuddle Minky fabric. Pin or clip in place and continue sewing.
When you get back to where you started, stop sewing about 4 inches away from where you began. Cut the excess binding, leaving about 2 inches to fold over.
Fold the excess binding over and under itself, creating a folded edge. Then fold the binding over the raw edge of the Cuddle Minky fabric and pin or clip in place.
Sew the binding down, making sure to catch both sides of the binding. You can do this by hand or with a sewing machine.
Trim any excess threads and you're done!
With these steps, you can sew binding with Cuddle Minky fabric and create a cozy and soft finished project.
