Natalie's top tips for calculating how much binding you need for your quilt:

1. Measure your quilt's width and length, and add up the total number of inches needed for all 4 sides of the quilt.
2. Then add 12" for corners and overlapping ends.
3. Then divide by width of fabric to know how many strips to cut (use 40" unless you know the specific measurement of your fabric).
4. Then decide on the width of binding, multiplied by the number of strips you calculated in #3, and that's how much fabric you need!
