Triple Play: 54-40 or Fight

Women couldn't vote during the election of 1844, but they sure had opinions—and they shared those opinions through quilting. Supporters of James K Polk immortalized his campaign slogan, “54-40 or Fight,” with a quilt block so gorgeous, we’ve been stitching it ever since! This week, the Doan girls are making three new 54-40 or Fight quilts + two bonus projects, each with a cozy, harvest vibe.
