Video Transcript
1. Before cutting out your pieces check the stretch. You'll want to cut along the selvage edge if there's stretch in your faux leather.
2. Use the heavy stabilizer and left over fabric from a previous project to make the bottom even stronger!
3. Kate loves using basting tape and/or Wonder Clips to hold her pieces together.
4. Save your corner scraps as extra padding for when you add buttons or snaps to your projects!
5. Use chalk to mark your measurements - the marks will disappear when you're done sewing or can be easily wiped away.
6. Use washi tape on your machine right where you need to sew your seam allowance for consistent seaming!
