The Churn Dash quilt block was popular during the Civil War era in the United States, and was used in many quilts made during that time period. It was often made in shades of red and white or blue and white, but can be adapted to suit different color schemes and fabric styles.
The design of the Churn Dash quilt block is based on traditional patchwork techniques, such as half-square triangles and strip piecing. The block can be made in a variety of sizes, and can be combined with other blocks to create larger quilt designs.
