The Ohio Star quilt block is a traditional quilt block pattern that has been around since the 1800s. The design is based on a central square surrounded by eight smaller triangles, arranged in a star shape.

The design of the Ohio Star quilt block is based on traditional patchwork techniques, such as half-square triangles and flying geese blocks. The block can be made in a variety of sizes, and can be combined with other blocks to create larger quilt designs.
