Jenny: Hi everybody, it’s Jenny. And I am here in the studio with Sue Daley and we filmed this awesome tutorial on English Paper Piecing and we are going to show you how to glue, the exact perfect way to do it. So Sue, can you show us that? Sue: Yes I will. It’s, so we’re working with a glue pen. And we need to work on the edge of our glue pen so you don’t want to use too much glue. And we need to go along the card, not on the fabric but along the card, but in from the edge a little bit on the card. You don’t want it right up on this edge here because when you go to sew them together later, it will be too hard to get your needle through. Jenny: Oh ya. Good point. Sue: So keep it away. Not too much glue, less is more. A little bit of glue along each edge. One, one side at a time. Don’t try to glue it all in one go. But the key is to keep it in from that edge. It’s really important. Jenny: You keep it on the mat. Sue: Yep, keep it down. Don’t pick it up in your fingers like this. But just keep it down and just glue. Jenny: Draw your line and fold over.
